THE CHURCH AND ITS RULES 1

The church had brainwashed so many young souls in the early 90's in various ways from relationship to fashion, lifestyle, emotion, segregation and discrimination to the extent it affected a whole lot of youth. Even though some were able to know the truth still others followed suit all in the name of doctrine. What I tell people I meet is that they should take the bible as their ''grundnorm'' and not be misled by the ideologies of men who consider themselves to be theologians because many "men of God" have created their ministries to have a command over their members in so much that they set up rules to suit their doctrine and personal interest.

    I agree but believe that many are still being brainwashed today. So many pastors are not pointing their members to biblical truths and facts but are preaching only a prosperity doctrine. People are not looking at the life that Jesus led but are ready to jump on the prosperity band wagon hoping to be rich or to have wealth. Pastors are telling them to give, give and it shall be given back to them, pressed down and running over but who is really the one prospering? Is it the one who believes that by sowing seeds he or she will have a financial blessing or is it the pastor that lives in the mansion, drives a bentley and flies in a private jet? We have to get back to the word and its truth, God abundantly blessed those who were willing to obey him and worship him alone.

It is extremely sad that some members of the body of Christ do not see Jesus as the author and finisher of their faith but rather look to Pastors and Ministers as their problem solvers. We have seen so much competition growing amongst churches. It is embarrassing when churches go against each other, especially within and Government and Royal members then have to intervene to solve internal problems in the churches today. Numbers matter in the quest to become a mega church and there seems to be a kind of supremacy that a Pastor of a Mega Church holds over Pastor of a smaller Church with a few members. In some Countries churches will house, feed and clothe the needy every blessed day. This should compel other churches to be responsible for the needy among their members and in their neighborhoods.
